Don Grant Award nomination form

  • The IMSE Department is instituting a new faculty award called the Don Grant Faculty Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Education. Each year we will seek nominations from seniors to recognize a faculty member that they feel provided them with excellent undergraduate education.

We have named this award after Don Grant who served for over twenty years as an undergraduate educator and advisor in our department. During that time he was teacher, friend, advisor, and counselor to over 3,000 IE students. As a result of a teaching and advising approach that said “I care,” the industrial engineering students who passed through Don Grant’s office were convinced that he was the best advisor, to which his outstanding advisor awards attest. In this light it is appropriate that this new award bear Don Grant’s name.

If you would like to nominate a faculty member for this award, please indicate the name of that faculty member below. Alpha Pi Mu will collect the nominations and determine the faculty member who will be honored in May with this award.
