The IE 441 senior capstone poster presentation took place on May 3 in the Howe Hall Atrium.

IE 271 at State Pool

Students in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering Associate Professor Rick Stone’s I E 271: Applied Ergonomics and Work Design course got out of the classroom and into the pool for some real hands-on learning. The pool was meant to simulate a zero gravity environment and students performed maintenance activities on a structure that was meant to resemble parts of a space station.

Graduating Student Athletes: Emma Hylen, Industrial Engineering

In addition to being a excellent pitcher for Iowa State Softball, industrial engineering senior Emma Hylen also excels in the classroom and in the lab.
