Weijun Shen Weijun Shen is a Ph.D. student co-majored in IMSE and Mechanical Engineering. and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Nondestructive Center. His work focuses on Additive Manufacturing (AM) and X-ray Computed Tomography (XCT) inspection for AM. Charchit Shukla Charchit Shukla joined the FEAP lab as a Ph.D. student in January 2021. Li Yu Li Yu joined the FEAP group as a Ph.D. student in January 2021. He earned his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Biological and Agricultural Engineering at North Carolina State University. He had 1 year’s experience as a field lab technician at the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering of Iowa State University. His current research interest is the 3D printing of solid-state batteries. |

Yang Cao joined the FEAP lab as a postdoctoral scholar in January 2021. He received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2020, M.S. degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Chongqing University in 2016, and B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2013. Rahul Singh Rahul Singh is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University. Yi Zheng Yi is a Ph.D. student in 3DAOS focusing on novel 3D optical solutions. He has prior research experience on large-scale transportation system optimization, using big data manipulation and data visualization techniques. Yi also has an interest in 3D printing. He built his own 3D printer to participate in a 3D printing competition and obtained a patent on a novel 3D printer. |

Dr. Hao Lyu Hao Lyu is an assistant professor in the School of Mathematics and Physics at Qingdao University of Science and Technology. He is currently a visiting scholar in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering of Iowa State University. He received his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Qingdao University of Science and Technology after completing his MS in materials processing engineering and BS in inorganic nonmetal material engineering at the same University in China. Dr. Lyu’s research interests lie in micro-nano photonic structures, holographic lithography, micro-nano cavity lasing, and plasma-enhanced random lasing. He has received several awards including top ten outstanding youth of Qingdao University of Science and Technology (2018), the first prize in the Shandong province teaching competition of youth teachers (2017), the first prize in the teaching competition of young teachers in the physical foundation course of Shandong Province (2016), the second prize of outstanding scientific research of Shandong Province (2014), the third prize of natural sciences of Qingdao (2012). |

Benjamin Lies Ben is currently a second-year IMSE Master student with a variety of research focuses including electrohydrodynamic jet printing (E-jet printing), laser ablation, laser diffraction, and machine vision.
