Research Description

My research interests include systems engineering, applied operations research and the modeling, design,  and performance analysis of manufacturing systems.  In particular I am interested in the performance of various metaheuristics as applied to optimization in stochastic systems.  My interest includes developing unique applications of metaheuristics as well as evaluating and improving their performance.
