Application Deadlines

January 31 is the priority consideration date for the fall semester applications. September 1 is the priority consideration date for the spring semester applications. 

International applications for the fall semester that arrive at the University after April 1 will be asked to delay their admission until the spring semester.

Applications for the spring semester that arrive at the university after October 1 will be asked to delay their admission until the next fall semester.

Please remember that the admission process may take up to 6 weeks.

Iowa State University can not process an application until it is complete, so please make sure the university has received all the materials for your application.
